Thank you, 2013

2013 has come to an end!
This year probably be one of my favorite year (beside I love number 13 lol)

Hmm, okay. Let me flashback.
I have sooo many good moments this year.

1. Last year in highschool

Some say, Highschool moments are the best moment in life. And I agree.
Being crazy with friends, cheating during test, conspiring with my classmate, having surprise to my friends (and throw them into fishpond in my school), having crush on someone, always looking for my crush in canteen, having lunch together, and so many things that I miss so bad.

I still can't find that things on college (probably because I am still fresh year)
But I miss that moments so bad. Our happiness, laugh, smile, and even tears...

2. First Debate Competition

My friend and I randomly entered a debate competition about law, hoping that the certificate will make us easier to enter public college. We didn't have any debate experience at all and it's so funny =)) Moreover, our competitors were having so many debate competition before. We just learned by doing. But It was so surprised because we could reach 4th ranking! After entering this debate competition, I felt like this is my true passion.

3. Watching Mocca's Concerts Twice

Mocca is one of my favorite Indonesian bands, and this year I got chance to watch their concert twice. In April, and November. I was sooo lucky!
Moreover, I could met, greet, photo together and also got their autograph. I could request all songs that I want them to play at that time.

4. Road to College Life

Let's say. My road to college was not easy. I have an obsession for being a student of law in University of Indonesia. But my mom was not agree at all because I am the only daughter in my family. And mom's prayer is always have big effect. Then, I couldn't pass the exams -.-

I entered a private college, instead of enter public college with lots of money and cheats.
As long as I can study law, I am okay. I don't care with what people say about private college.
Moreover, in private college, you can enjoy your money for real. Your money become real facility that facilited you.
Though I can't study in my dream college, I feel sooo happy can study all about law as my passion. Get many friends from many region has made me more understand about my country's culture, and of course appreciate the other more.

I want to thank you
for giving me the best day of my life
Oh just to be with you
is having the best day of my life

Marble Sounds

In early 2013, I asked some of my friend who has kinda same music sense with me. I always ask him if I want some recommendation of any good songs. Then, one of his recommendation was Marble Sounds - Good Occasions.

This song is so... appease. Really. And the lyric is so good either.
When I asked him for any recommendation, he recommended again Marble Sounds - The Time to Sleep.
I love the calm effect that their music gives to me. Moreover, their songs are so easy-listening. So, I decided to get to know about Marble Sounds deeper.

Marble Sounds is a Belgian Band. Their frontman is Pieter Van Dessel on vox, guitar, keys; Gianni Marzo on guitar, vox; Frederik Bastiaensen on bass; Johan De Coster on drums; and Brecht Plasschaert on keyboards.
Honestly, I still do not know about them clearly because it is kinda hard to get to know them as they still don't have any page in wikipedia english (But they have a page in Dutch language). But I hope they will make a page about them soon.

I will write down my review about their albums.

Nice is Good (2010)

Tracklist:
  1. The Time to Sleep
  2. Two and Still Counting
  3. Smoking was a Day Job
  4. A New Breeze
  5. Good Occasions
  6. Redesign
  7. Come Here
  8. My Friend
  9. Come Here
  10. We Slow
  11. Sky High

Most all songs in this album are so appease with gently melody. I ever feel so mad and angry, then I randomly download this album and listen all of these song. And you know what? I feel so calm. I am not lying but somehow, their song can magically gives us calmness.

Good Occasions and The Time to Sleep are best recommended if you want to hear songs which will give calmness deeper.

Two and Still Counting and Sky High are more "strong" (I apologize, don't have any idea how to describe the term. teehee.) with good melody.
The other songs are good. But I love those songs below :)

Dear Me, Look Up (2013)

Tracklist:
  1. The Summer of the Sun
  2. No One Ever Gave Us the Right
  3. Ship in the Sand
  4. Dance Clarence Dance
  5. The Silent Song
  6. The Little Lows
  7. Photographs
  8. Leave a Light On
  9. Never Lost, Never Won
  10. Evenings

I loooooove this album so much!!!
This album is more colorful than the older one. I can't stop listening Photographs and Never Lost Never Won!

Photographs has nice music, nicer lyric, and deep music video. I love this song sooo much! This song really describe my heart now (hahaha)
I really hope I can hear this song lively soon. Maybe I will cry out loud :')

Never Lost, Never Won. I really love its melody. I got eargasm everytime I listen its melody in the middle of the song. And the lyric are so good. I love its lyric so much.

If I want to affect my friend to like Marble Sounds, I always use Leave a Light On. This song just use piano, so simple yet so good.

Dance Clarence Dance always makes me smile and spirited. It's a nice song with cheerful melody.
No One Ever Gave Us the Right and The Little Lows are so good too :)

This band is still rare listener (especially in Indonesia, my country) but I feel so pride of being their fan.
Some reason why I love Marble Sounds is.. They play their music with their heart, write the lyrics with full of  feeling. That is why, I want everyone listen their songs.
I hope someday they will come to Indonesia, or I can go to Belgium and watch their concert live. I wish :)

I sometimes

I confess I have quirky music sense that only several people understand what I love to listen. Have many bands I love does not mean I only listen in limited genre. I love all genre of music, as long they play their music with their heart, not only for money-oriented. I am sure I will love it.

My friends see me weird like
"Why you spend your money for ticket concert? I'd prefer shopping so much than just standing watch a band performs their song which you can hear them in iTunes."

Well, they are not understand. They are not understand how it feels listening your favorite song lively, watching your favorite band with your own eyes, that pleasure.. They will never understand.

I sometimes imagine how if I have a boy who has same music sense and even favorite bands, and we always watch their concerts together. How lovely, is not it? :)

Well, still haven't watched The Corrs, Owl City, Oasis, Coldplay, Marble Sounds, Sixpence None the Richer. But someday, I will. :)

Not a Status Quo Again

Well, honestly I used to write a lot in this blog.
This blog has many posts that obviously remind me with someone I was loving all the time.
I am running out idea why those moments make me smile like an idiot or even cry like a baby.
I realize I should accept my past, let it go, and not make a status quo again.

And at the end, life is about how you fight, and how you accept.

Whoever read this post, keep fight for your dreams and forget impossibilities. I am sure you can! :)

Hey now, hey now
Don't dream it's over
Hey now, hey now
When the world comes in
They come, they come
To build a wall between us
We know they won't win
